During the pandemic, I consistently called for greater support for the hospitality industry. Today I’ve been visiting some of our excellent pubs in Luton South. It was good to meet with Cherrie & Connor from the Castle Live, Paulette from the Chequers, and catch up with Alison at my local the Brickies. It’s great to hear how live music is picking up at the Castle, and how Paulette’s regulars have supported her during the pandemic and continue to enjoy her excellent home-cooked food! And Alison always has a great selection of real ales! Pubs are the heart of our communities; whether it’s good music, good food, good fun, or good beer. I’ll continue to support our Luton pubs as a vital part of our local economy. #LongLiveTheLocal.
